Trakai Island Castle, Lithuania

Trakai Castle (also referred to as “Little Marienburg“)  is a very fashionable vacationer vacation spot in Lithuania, the citadel is an “Island Castle” situated within the east of Lithuania in Lake Galvė (which has 21 small sized islands). Trakai Castle was first constructed within the 14th century and had a number of levels of development, the citadel was left to ruins round the seventeenth century and for 200 years it remained dormant. In the nineteenth century a collection of reconstruction plans started to happen – which slowly refurbished the construction reworking it right into a fifteenth century fort.

There is a wonderful picket bridge which results in the island.
The island’s timber and basic look is at its greatest in the direction of the top of summer time.
